In America you are not allowed to profit from a crime you commit.

So if you are in someone's will and you stand to inherit a very large sum of money what happens if you get caught hurrying their death? Do you still inherit the money or because of the law do you forfeit your share of the inheritance? I am watching a TV show. They elderly lady had cancer and wasn't doing well, but we had one person who was desperate and couldn't wait. So in real life would he still get to keep his inheritance?

It's a forefit. But have no clue what happens to the money.i imagine it goes to next in line or creditors or possibly the state...
