@Eddiesolds It could be like opening a time capsule.
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti Yes it is. When I was tearing out the pantry in the kitchen, I had an old pop can hit my on my head. I think someone balanced it on a piece of wood, when they were building those places. It was pretty funny. Lol!

@Stereoguy I'm sure it looked so beautiful in there.

How did you get cockroaches? Or, do I not want to know?
@SW-User On boats, you are not supposed to bring canned food onboard with the labels attached, they live underneath them.

@cherokeepatti I once brought a pack of Pepsi sodas home from Walmart and lo and behold, a giant cockroach leaped out. Thank g-d I was able to track it down right away and kill it.

@LoveTriumphsOverHate a couple in Arkansas went to a Walmart and bought a case of bottled water and brought home a venomous snake. It had crawled inside through the the openings of the plastic shrink wrap and got in the middle of the bottles. They will often store pallets of water out in the garden center and anything can crawl in the doorway of the garden centers.

Hopefully, you get rid of them. You can kill a million of them and if one is left alive, she will reproduce.

Will they use boric acid powder sprayed into closets, under drawers and under sinks or use a liquid spray? boric acid is healthier but you don’t want to breathe the powder into your lungs. And it gets into the air for awhile till it settles. The last apartment I lived in used a little bait gun that they smeared a small bit of bait under sinks etc. It worked whatever it was and didn’t smell or anything.

@nedkelly republicans
@nedkelly If it was democrats, they would be friends with roaches all over the world, there would be harmony with different colors and nationalities, and all the roaches would prosper. If they were republicans, they would lie about everything, help the rich, deport any colors that were not like them, and dress up in furs and horns and run around pretending to be great roaches while doing nothing useful with their lives ever.

Won't you have to do it all again when they're done,
I mean chemicals everywhere😥
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@Virgo79 i feel so much better now , i could've just watched youtube but then again my apartment is cleaner
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@FurryFace take a rest and enjoy🙂
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@Virgo79 yeah i will
curiosi · 61-69, F
You shouldn't have to leave, people spray around here all the time. I would open the windows and air out the place. You don't want to be breathing it in.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@curiosi yeah i know , i talked with a neighbor who had his place done a while back , and he said he just stayed there during the spraying and after but for sure air out the place

friggin cockroaches are harder to get rid of. Seems like they adapt to the new pesticides
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@introvertguy shaddup ! i wanna get rid of em , lol

@introvertguy They don’t get immune to boric acid or diachotameous earth powder. The boric acid is mixed with sugar and when they eat it they will dehydrate and die. The diachotameous earth powder works by cutting the exoskeleton of bugs when they walk over it and in about 3 days they’ll bleed to death.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Bring something to read or whatever to keep you busy if you go sit in the hall or in the laundromat etc.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@FurryFace well I guess you can just sit there and twiddle your thumbs then.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti hopefully i might not have to leave
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@FurryFace if it’s just that little applicator gun they use then you shouldn’t have too. They can also poof some boric acid or diachotameous earth powder in various places and you can stay inside. There’s a pesticide company here that was knocking on doors about a year ago looking for business & I told them I didn’t want poisons sprayed into the house because my daughter had lupus & I suspected pesticides had something to do with it. He told me they hadn’t used the ones toxic to humans for awhile. Told him what I was using and he said that’s what they applied. You can get a big bag of that powder for about $15 online and it’ll last for a decade or longer.
