My only sister is pregnant and I will, Godwilling, be an aunty for the first time in May!

I'm excited and I wish I can develop a close bond with the child. Do you guys have any good experiences/ bond with any of your aunts or do you think an aunt's role in a child's life is not that big of a deal?

Aunts and or uncles can play a huge and important role in a child’s life . They can be that child’s friend . Be the one that they ask for advice.
I have hung out and gone to movies with my aunt.
