I miss work. Do u?

It's crazy, I've been kinda sick of it for a while now, and just losing my interest. But right now I want tomorrow to come faster so I could go back to work. I've been trying this new thing of "being chatty and kind and polite to everyone", and today I had a great day and I want some more of that.
I just need to focus more on talking to the people that I usually avoid or anmoy me. I think I can do it.

@Grateful4you Thank you. I will keep at it 😇
@Dan193 Glad to hear it. People like you are what makes life worthwhile. (Seriously)

@Grateful4you I'd like to believe that, I just need to keep away from burning out.
I have a good example at work tho. This girl she is just the person I wish I could be, consistently, one day.
@Dan193 As a former manager, I always felt that the employee's who complained the most about "Burnout" were never really on fire. Keep raising the bar on personal and professional goals and ethics and you will go far.

@Grateful4you raising the bar, that's a good advice. I noticed that as well, that as long as I always strive to learn or to do something new, it always keeps me interested and motivated.
The reason why I've been lacking motivation lately, it's because there are no challanges for me at work, I know everything on the professional side. Though so many co-workers are telling me to go for the promotion, but Idk, I'm not really a leader, I'm kind of quiet, and I have a different idea of what a leader should be like, than what I am like.
@Dan193 Go for the promotion. From what you have already said, I think you're more qualified than you think. Being a quiet kind of personality isn't a handicap. The "loud" kind of manager rarely seeks to empower his/her employee's and rarely has a really dynamic employee team. Seek to identify the strengths of employee's and build on those ideals. Having a "different idea" means you think out of the box and are more creative than you might think.

@Grateful4you wow thank you very much. You must've been a really good manager, that's a lot of constructive advice.
@Dan193 Aww, Thank YOU for saying so. I wish you my best for 2021. 👍🏿 Be confident, you may want to listen to some of Steve Jobs lectures. (Apple Computer) he remains one of my hero's. A good man with a great mind.

@Grateful4you I will look up his lectures. I watched his Stanford commencement speech, it was really inspiring - to take action.
@Dan193 Glad to hear you did that. One of the great minds of my lifetime. He was (I think) a highly evolved spirit and is in a good place. A genius who was modest, Compassionate, and a great role model for young folks like you to follow. I have great hopes for your future. I really do.
