my poutine turned out ok , had to separate the scum from the fries i made with real potatoes only had 4 small potatoes

and ditch the rest of the really small pieces of crap into the garbage but had just enough remaining to make a successful poutine

I want to make it at least once. I have some gravy mix called mushroom sauce, don’t know if that would do or not. Probably best to start with beef gravy, I could make it from beef broth & cornstarch since I can’t eat wheat based gravy.

@cherokeepatti any gravy or sauce would work , need a good amount of cheese though shredded works best over the cooked fries , and the gravy or sauce has to be hot and poured over the cheese evenly distributed over the fries in a container that can be sealed with a lid to keep the heat in to melt the cheese over the fries which just takes a few minutes and Voila its ready
