Today I told my manager

The new associate was kind of rude to me when I asked her a question and he twisted it on me and said “are you sure “it wasn’t just her tone, and not her being rude because she’s a really blunt person” okay but that’s what I’m talking about her tone ???? lol
I can be pretty blunt/straightforward but I'm still capable of being polite and tactful. 🤷 People have to quit using that as an excuse.

@AmbivalentFriability ^^^^ This. Exactly this. Her tone was was through me off guard I asked her to show me where her project she left off at was and she was rude about it lol
Why is he making excuses? 🧐 also why would you tell your manager about someones tone? They literally only care about numbers
