Why do some people like to celebrate their birthday all weekend?

Isn’t that too much? Your birthday is one day, not the whole weekend! It’s too exhausting!!
We celebrated my 18th birthday from Friday night to Sunday evening. It was fun but too much. People in my face and laughing trying to get me to loosen up. My dads girlfriend said, “Three more years you’ll be about to go to the casino!”
Man people really wanna tire me out. I appreciate what they did for me but I’m more comfortable relaxing, staying home and yeah.
My dad and his gf took me to some event of course we wore our masks. They did I they to get me out of the house for a while because I stay at home way too much. October 15th was my birthday
