I ask where the local library is, and I walk there. They always have an information desk, and I inquire about social services. When the machine won't work, I begin yelling M'Aidez!!! M'Aidez!!!

Because I won't have a UPC code tattoo on my wrist, and no identification microchip, they will believe me when I explain that I am a time traveler...馃ぃ. Then they will call the police, who will give me a nice place to stay and three starchy meals a day...馃ぃ
