If reproducing felt terrible, what would the population be?🤔

Ask any woman who has given birth how pleasant reproducing is.

Some arthropod species practice what's known as "traumatic insemination" or "hypodermic insemination" where the male pierces the female's abdomen with his reproductive organ and injects sperm through the wound. I imagine this does not feel good for the females, yet their populations are still booming. Bed bugs are just one of many insect species that use this method, as well as a spider species called Harpactea [i]sadistica[/i].

Apparently dinosaurs broke bones when they mated, and they did just fine. Well except for the meteor part, but that wasnt because of anything they did
