Nobody likes monthly pay.
Always annoys me how money i've already earned is still sitting in the employers bank account earning THEM interest.

@Picklebobble2 It's not that I don't like monthly pay, it's just that they always pay it wrong. They pay it on something like the 28th of the month regardless of what day of the week that is. Why not the last Friday in the month, or maybe once every 28 days starting from the third Friday after the first day at work, so that once a Friday it's always a Friday no matter what?

@NankerPhelge Easier for payroll and tax calculation. No thought whatsoever for the employee.

@NankerPhelge Yeah there's no reason why you couldn't calculate; withdraw tax & add overtime weekly !
Especially now you can electronically transfer everything to peoples bank accounts.

@Picklebobble2 I still prefer that to always be on a Friday and I feel justifiably resentful when it isn't.
