chiropractors = NOT doctors.

Chiropractic students are educated as primary-contact health care practitioners, with emphasis on neuro-musculo-skeletal diagnosis and treatment. This education concentrates on three areas of learning:

Basic training in the biological and health sciences, including anatomy, physiology, histology, biochemistry, clinical and radiological diagnosis;
Specialized training in the chiropractic discipline, including theoretical studies, practice, diagnosis and application; and
Extensive clinical training.

and yet they're not an M.D.
@elVato: They are holistic and won't pump you full of synthetic medications either.

Adjustments actually boost your immune system and help fight illness naturally.

Just like a car with frame issues, we don't work at optimum efficiency, if our "frame" is bent, inhibiting our nerves from functioning fully.

Medications will not put things back into alignment, an MD who is more concerned with writing the next script and getting you out of his office as quickly as possible, does not address the core issue.

That would be like sending your frame damaged car in for a coat of paint, expecting it to fix the frame.

@elVato: Well.. I rest my case. I assume you've never been to one and are only assuming from things you have read. I had adjustments for 3 years while a chiro assistant and I'm still standing. She helped me a lot.
