Chicken is the easiest and best choice. Pork is very good to use if you want a pause from the chicken. Beef is generally a let down unless it's for tacos.
I dont think I am in the mood for tacos-- pork sounds good atm :-)

@SBelle: I like taking a whole filé of pork, cutting along it, stuff feta cheese and garlic in the cut, and then use thread to tie it together. I'd cook it in butter along with mushrooms. Season it with black ground pepper, salt, white pepper and BBQ seasoning. Add some water if it's getting too dry. Then serve it together with some sallad and perhaps baked potatoes. 😍

Don't you do roast beef? Mmmm... the best... Horseradish sauce, mustard, yorkshire puddings, lovely gravy...
@MartinTheFirst: oh wow😮 that sounds sooo good! I always cook my pork in butter to keep it tender and I bake. I might just do this - I have BBQ sauce-- thank you😋
@Valentine: I dont have a roast atm - its just me here and I really hate to cook too much.

@SBelle: Go for the fish then... (next time). Otherwise, chicken strips cut thinly, cooked in butter, add mushorooms, also cooked in butter or olive oil, add mangetout or sugarsnap peas, a little pasta, and one of the nicer sauces (plum sauce maybe?) in your cupboard. Enjoy!!
