Have you ever wanted to go to a place, & once you finally did it wasn't what you thought it would be?

Had an opportunity to go once but missed it, I picture people in Cali to be very laid back/ cool/ chill/ beach life being very big out there, aot of weed smoking & skateboarding/ and alot of guys saying dude ... Am I off?

@Lolco-: Lol, yep. Based on my experience in California, anyway. I never want to go back!

@Lolco-: The people were rude and not chill or laid back one bit, the beaches were filthy and ugly, it was always hectic and busy and even the air was just horrible. I'm never going back!
