What's your advice to a quiet person, that wants to be like everyone else?

My advice would be why in the world would you want to be like everyone else? Unique is so much better.

Speak up when its important to you. When it's about something you are passionate about. Something you are good at. Something meaningful in your life. Something you find funny or entertaining. Dont ever feel like you need to speak just to call attention to yourself. There's enough shallow people out there. Quiet is not boring. Its thoughtful, introspective, deliberate, considerate. Dont be so hard on yourself.

Don’t be like everyone else

Stop trying to be someone else and get comfortable being you. Trying to be something you are not just ends up being stressful and you will likely come off as foolish.

I dunno about being like everyone else, but Im kinda quiet too. Are you quiet because talking embarrasses you or you have nothing to say?

I have humor to get my lips moving. Make people laugh and they are more patient with you.

Don't. We have enough of those people.

Don't try to be liked by everyone.
I have found more freedom in not worrying who likes me, than I ever did in trying to please people who don't like me.

The old cliche "Be yourself" is good advice.

Realize that you already are like everyone else. Whatever makes you reluctant to talk is probably an illusion.
