It depends on whose respect you want, but sometimes it’s best to fight back, and sometimes it’s not, and running would be the wiser choice. Depends on the situation, and people involved.

A fight is all or nothing you win or you lose don't run, so I would say running makes it worse. Depending on the fight though if there are weapons involved you should probably run.
