(Better post) why is alpha male ok, but alpha female not?

In the home and in social settings, I prefer equality and avoid alphas and controlling types.

We do need leaders in many settings though, especially in emergencies.
An alpha female is just as fine with me.
It's the expertise, ability to think fast, and ability to coordinate others into a cooperative team that is needed. For me, the gender is irrelevant.

Not all men feel that way. The ones who get bent out of shape over it were raised in an environment where the woman was subservient to the man. When those men meet strong women, they feel threatened.

I have no idea but I mean I thought it was normal for alpha females I mean most of the time moms are usually in charge of a household.

Is that still happening?

I find alpha individuals typically lack substance.
