I finally fixed my own wagon last night. I went to bed early, woke up twice as usual, but instead of getting up at 4:20 a.m., as I have been, I put on my eye mask so the sun would not wake me up, and managed to sleep till 7 a.m.!

I hate that, when you need sleep, and your brain won’t shut down and rest. I’m sorry. I hope you sleep well again soon. Is there something on your mind?

Cut back on coffee, sugar and salt. Keep the same sleeping hours every night. This is what helped me.

Sounds terrible but either turn a fan on or have your air conditioner run higher at night to keep it cooler. It would be worth the extra expense so you can sleep.@Stereoguy

Aww, I'm sorry about that. I have not slept well this week either. I hate waking up early but yet knowing I really do need more sleep! I've been trying melatonin and when I remember it, I think it helps me.

@Stereoguy I resisted for a very, very long time. I use 6 mg, I think it is. Who knows, it may help?

A spoonful of real honey in a cup of warm milk (even almond or other types of milk substitute) and a pinch of nutmeg stirred in is very helpful before bedtime.
