I absolutely love when people say stay at home moms don't do anything

Tell me how did the entire house stay clean? How did the food get cooked? How are the children alive, well, bathed and clothed? How is the lawn mowed, and the farm cared for? Are people really this stupid

I know you work very hard! Keeping tabs on everyone in the households schedule, keeping cabinets stocked, food on the table, house cleaned, laundry washed, folded, put away.... monitor children, making sure school work is complete, feeding of household animals, maintenance on cars, house, simple repairs, referee between children, role of daughter to parents as they age and roles change, being a friend and lover to your spouse, taking care of your own medical issues...

For all the jobs you do and all the roles you fill on a daily basis, you couldn’t be paid enough for everything that you do!

Stay home moms are stay home moms because they dont have the time to do anything. I visited my cousin, she has a three year old and I love her to pieces but I could barely stand her for one day while my cousin even goes to work. Poor woman can't get enough sleep.

I'm stunned when someone expects a woman with a small child to have a full-time job and then take care of the entire household alone.

It depends on the age of the kid, I think. Stay at home parents to very young children are definitely doing a TON of work. Especially if there are multiple children in the house under 3. If someone's a stay at home parent to a 6+ year old, then they're probably not doing all that much.

@Rosiechick13 Running a farm is a full time job. That’s not the same as being a stay at home parent. You’re managing an estate, which is considered a business.

@Rosiechick13 That's very true. I don't like the words "stay at home" parent because it makes it seem like they're not doing anything.

Stay at home Moms Rock. They are the foundation of the family.
