So I heard that SW is automatically rejecting certain usernames that may be offensive...

In an effort to make the site more "family friendly". Is that true? Just curious.

"Family friendly" has got nothing to do with it. There is a difference between being pleasant and being too gross. We had someone (can't recall his name) who entered the scene and started out with a VERY dirty comment under what you would call an offensive name. He lasted three weeks, each comment dirtier than the last, before SW deleted him from the site.

There's no need to gross anybody out. If that's your pleasure, more power to you. But there are porn sites and I'll-do-it-to-you-if-you writers who would welcome such individuals. I have no clear idea why SW began challenging anyone but it's their privilege as site officials.

As far as I know they even changed some user names to generic profile names.

@helenS I think we should be able to choose, just as long as it's not offensive 🤷🏽‍♂️.
helenS · 36-40, F
@SubstantialKick Yes there was some censorship. For example they changed all user names that contained the string "spank".
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@helenS That's understandable because people do have spanking fetishes...

Heard the same thing and the effort is appreciated.

But they allow nudity

Yeah. HannibalAteMeOut used to be ScissorhandsFingeredMe, but it got removed so she changed her name to the former.
