When i was about 20 my boyfriend and i went on a trip with a goid friend of his and his girlfriend. She and i had been in school together and didnt like each other. We attended a music gig and the boys buggered off and left us together....neither if us were too happy about that...but we got a conversation going and after about an hour she said something like...'yr alright you.....youre not a bit like i remember you' and i said 'same' and we were firm pals for many years after that. Lol

@RubySoo for example one supervisor i had was an asshole to his staff and was the reason we had high staff turnover. instead of quitting i "Befriended him and after a few months he me me "His mate" up for promotion and once i was being trained up for the supervisor position i started recording him being an asshole. and showed it to the regional manager. he was sacked n i got the supervisor role, even convinced a few good guys who left to come back after.
could've called him out or quit but he'd still be there causing trouble, instead he was useful as i got a better paying role n a few guys got work back.
