How often is your "gut feeling" wrong?

My gut instinct has a pretty good track record for being correct. But when I’m in a weakened state, what I think is my gut instinct trying to get me on the right path is actually my inner demons consisting of insecurities, fear, and self-sabotage trying to make misguided decisions for me. Sometimes it can be really hard to differentiate the two, especially when you’ve been awakened to what people are capable of and you have an even better track record for denying yourself happiness for a multitude of ridiculous reasons.
