No wrong answers, be honest: How does everyone feel about 2020 so far?

One word...Extreme. Everything encountered is felt to the extreme this year. The wtf’s that just seem to keep coming. The joys that you don’t remember being so jazzed about before as you hang onto them for dear life because the temporary place of so much has never been tested more. The uncertainties that don’t seem to be getting any clearer no matter how much we try to ignore the reality before us. The adaptability that has had to be turned up a notch as we try to find some semblance of ourselves in the control of something, anything just to feel like we have some kind of footing in the ricketiness underneath our feet. The love from strangers who you instantly feel this connection with because they’re right there in the same battle as you. The hate from those you thought you knew but have now shown their true colors. It’s been heavy and so very trying, but it’s nothing we can’t handle...I think. Maybe the next six months will bring more light than dark. I’m hoping it does anyway and if that’s not the case, we’ll take it on and keep living day by day just like we have this first six months.

It’s been a toxic waste truck on fire headed toward a cliff at full speed with the brake lines cut, and there may or may not be school children at the bottom of the cliff...that’s a surprise we have yet to figure out 🤷‍♂️😓

Worst year in recent memory. Worst for me personally since 2010.

It was okay until the end of February..

Needs to be reinstalled and rebooted

I’m not sure I feel anything about it anymore. Just breathing and holding onto the golden spots of each day. My mind just can’t wrap itself around a shitshow of such massive proportions.

Everything culturally that people enjoy got snatched away temporarily. Maybe people will learn something from this.

I expect at this rate dinosaurs, aliens and magic by the end of the year

Mine is good I have a job, I’m working, I have my health it’s not that great but I wake up every day, I have a place to live, i have food not that much but I have enough to survive on, and I have a car to get me to one place to the other.

I buried a friend, an aunt, my father in law and found out my father has a terminal illness, I cannot even put into words how I feel.

Sigh...I miss Sharpie-gate 😒😒
