On social media Why do people get offended when I ask why they're messaging me?? Is that a bad question to ask? 🤔

I do the same with friend requests.

I typically message them and ask "TY for the friend request, do I know you or are we in a group together?".

lets make this answer simple - female and YOUNG

They don't get your username perhaps
