no not crystals. Crystals are uniform bindings of molecules. A formiddable metal is an example of a non-crystal, since there are no atoms in the bindings that repel some more than others it wont break if beant. However if you tried to bend glass, a crystaline structure, the charged particles has to go over each other which repels them from each other and shatters the glass.
