A lot of commentators are saying after covid, governments are going to pass laws so companies have to keep some percentage of manufacturing local

But I bet after a few years, the economics will push things exactly back to where they were, with a few useless rubber-stamp local jobs that won't help with manufacturing in the next crisis.
