Why is that it's horror that a man hits a woman not when a woman hits a man?

If a woman puts her hands on a man, abuses him and insults a man, shouldn't he be allowed to defend himself? I'm not saying he should hit her but still. Some women need to be called out and stop thinking they can do what they want just because they're women.
Some men need to start calling women out when they deserved it.
