I feel torn right now. I hate my minimum wage job. I like the ppl, but I hate the nature of the work coupled with the extremely low pay. I

Could leave and go back to trucking. If I went back to trucking I’d be making more money, but I’d have to deal with the higher stress in addition to working alone once I passed the mentorship phase. I’d be able help my parents with their own debt. I got out of trucking because I felt the stress was too much and I didn’t feel it was for me. I decided I’d take online classes and work my current job until I could get a degree. With this virus going around I’m not so sure how long it’s going to be before life resumes for us all. I’m holding back going to school because I’m concerned my work will shut down and I won’t be able to make monthly payments. Any advice?
Stay where you are for now... work might be harder to find on the other side of this pandemic!!!

Look at it this way...you are going through this with millions of others. You can’t go back to school now, so that decision is already made for you.

@Carissimi I love animals. Life without them is not worth living. From what I’ve seen online Penn Foster is a reputable school, and was recommended by one vet tech when I called a vet office, but admittedly all but that one office recommended going to a school. I live in a remote area of my state so doing an online class makes sense, plus I’d be able to work doing an online course. Maybe I’ll wait until it’s announced we can go back to work. I just had a long conversation with my Mom and am realizing just how serious this whole circumstance is.

Wait till this pandemic is over. You can teach on youtube.

After you feeling that you can leave the job try to do your own business. It's risky but do some savings for capital.
