i got this Percolator you know a machine to make coffee from ground coffee ,

but the power button is non functioning so i cut the power cord off and use it the manual way by putting a filter in it and pouring the hot water directly on top of the coffee grounds , so its not time dripped which makes it Super strong , gotta use 1/2 a cup of coffee and 1/2 hot water and 3 sugar . further more i found out the big can of coffee grounds that i got from a neighbor is boost 1.5 X in caffeine , wow ! needs carnation milk though

I used to make coffee over a campfire. We could pour in the ground coffee, then pour in the water, and put egg shells in the bottom of the coffee pot. That was supposed to settle more grounds and keep them at the bottom...an old trick that doesn't always work. Then I would boil the water in the coffee pot and remove it from the flames when the little glass button at the top of the lip showed that the coffee had boiled.
