True story.

I see bats on sticks for sale in Flushing Queens (NY), an area with a notoriously high Asian population. One day I got the courage to ask the various entrepreneurs why and what do you do with them. Their answers were: that you make a broth with them, and the broth is an herbal and medicinal one that helps with respiratory issues.
How ironic, yet very true. They cost about nine dollars. I have contemplated buying one for the secret Santa grab bag at work.

I do. It's less likely to get sick from something cooked than from touching something a deceased person or animal touched or sneezed on.
