If I were a prince, would it be fine for me to wanna marry a princess?
Usually in these Hollywood movies, the prince ends up not marrying a princess. I think if I were one, it would be my dream to marry a princess.

It'd probably be an issue if you were an heir to the throne of one country, and she was the heir to another country lol. Back when women couldn't rule, they always married princes or other men with high ranks. But now they'd probably expect to stay loyal to their own country, especially if they were the firstborn. So it could cause issues if one of you had to give up the throne to your own country. But I don't think it's actually illegal in most places, so you technically could

@Billybob2 a princess would want to marry a prince. A prince would want to marry a princess. Why would they marry a normal person who doesn't have similar life experiences etc.
I think they just make those stories so we feel like we relate to them.
Even William marrying Kate.. her great grandfather was a very very wealthy man and mason. When he died his wealth disappeared, all of it. I think he paid for one of his descendants to marry into royalty and the heir to the thrown.
Nobody cares about Harry. He's not the heir. He can do what he likes and there aren't that many princesses around now days for him to choose from.
But when there were they didn't marry common people.
