Doing good for a bad reason is probably better for whomever is the target of the deed.
For the person committing the deed, the two are equally bad, even if they don't realize it.

@Mamapolo2016 why? they saved the person from the street? they gave money to the poor? those are clearly good what you're saying are the bad reasons.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@popmol They didn't save the person from the street, they moved them from one hell to another.
If giving money to the poor creates a debt to be paid back, it's at least fraudulent lending practices and those aren't good either.

@Mamapolo2016 doign good for a bad reason always inplies a debt or a gain in some way never for free.

Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom
Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow
Life is very long
Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom [/quote]

Is bad intention better? No
celine211 · 22-25, F
@popmol well I don't know what you had in mind when writing the question but let.. Many parents do bad for a good reason ( and i think many people do bad thinking they are doing good for a good reason)
On the other hand intentionally doing bad things is inexcusable cause while you can partly understand somone with good reasons theres no way to justify the actions of someone with bad intentions. Of course all this is relative to each situation

Doing good for the wrong reason would be better.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
Obviously "wrong and good" is better than "bad and wrong"
should have worded it "bad for the right reason" instead, would be interesting.
