Why didn't we go the 80's bar before the quarantine started?

Because very often we don't want to go places until we can't.

I learned that when I didn't have a car for a while and I was so frustrated I couldn't go to all these wonderful places. I've had a car for three years and still have not been to most of those places.

It's a subset of "You can't tell me what to do."
