Lazy DIY question lol please give me a good respond?

Can I super glue anything to a wall? I need curtain rod up and I don't have a drill, can I super glue the rod holder to the wall?

It will stick forever. To the paint. Which will break and fall off. Tonight. While you sleep.

No you'd probably require industrial style glue. But it's not appropriate for this as when you need to redecorate it will take down pretty much the wallpaper and any other layers.
@Davemcdave exactly!

@Davemcdave no adhesive would be sufficient. It needs a mechanical fastener of some sort- screws or nails- to spread the load beyond the surface of the wall.
🤣 nope silly....you'll get the paint off the wall along with that rod of yours!

@Vivaci Well, learn something new every day!
@RadiantRuby Yeah...do that. You'll be voicing all our complaints if you do. 😄
@tj78610 yup ...I've always tried to fix things myself before I call the experts. 😅

The last time I did this I used screws. But it was plaster so I did not need a drill.

Be sure to measure and mark the hole-locations well, too. I used a rular and a pencil. You don't want to install it and then it is all crooked.
Definitely do not. But if you do give us the play by play of how it went 😂
@DrawntoaDistance I'm gonna try it, bet I'll put the drilling business out of work
I urge you to rethink your current course of action

Super glue would not be the best option. Ive used thumb tacks before.
You could... But it won't stay
@PrivateHell I'll try but I'm renting landlord might give me heck, oh well a little experiment

The paper will come off.
@tj78610 my wall is concrete 😋

@RadiantRuby oh.

Still pretty sure it will fall because of the weight.
I did this in the distant past-no problems 😄

If you have drywall it won`t stay. Sorry. 😕
