What if I'm crazy because my mom had issues in the past?

I'm not supposed to know this and she doesn't know I know but my grandma told me my mom tried to kill herself in college. She tried with pills and only my mom and the doctor know the reason why. I'm not allowed to bring it up or know because my grandma doesn't want to make my mom feel bad.

What if she passed it on to me.

Mental illness can be passed down. You should seek help in this issue, if you feel like it is an issue.

@MarkPaul I don’t think so. I just don’t think there’s anything wrong with openly discussing mental illness. A lot of people struggle with it and if anyone is having doubts it’s best to get it checked out.

We are all a little crazy. And if your mom does have issues that dosent mean that you will. Don't borrow trouble but it if it makes you feel better it would be best to speak to your grandmother in private about it. In my opinion openness is important but not everyone agrees.
