My hospital bill is $770. Guess what it's going to collection because I can't pay it and I don't care anymore.

That is actually not bad!!
Don't get me wrong, it is a lot of money, but getting away from the hospital owing them only 770.00 is pretty amazing.

I do hope you fins a way to pay it though. Collections will end up costing you more and they always find a way to get their money. Always.

Generally, if you pay them $5 or $10 a month, they'll work with you.

We've been paying for three years on a four night hospital stay and two artery stents...still owe $8K (all after insurance paid their part). They get $60 a month from us. As long as you give them something they cannot send you to collections.

If you talk to them, they may write it off as charity based on income. I got lucky with one $2K+ bill. Ambulance? No mercy.

in my country medical assistance is free🙂

Just give them a couple of dollars a month and keep it up... they will be satisfied...
