Co-worker asked me if I had siblings, and are they like me. What's that mean?

I asked what do you mean like me?
I just replied they are different.
I asked her about her siblings. Said she has one sister and that she, herself, was the outgoing one.

People try to make quiet/reserved/shy a bad thing. Is it really?

I keep getting that.
Guess the lesson is, don't take things personal.

yes. i used to get that a lot too. "Are your siblings as weird as yourself?" and with a snicker too...don't take it personally. it's their ignorance, let them bathe in it.

Some overtly outgoing people don't know how to speak with someone who is more quiet and reserved. Your supervisor can't read you and it makes her uncomfortable to the point she says stupid shit. Lol.
