Actually, we do have several people who talk and quite some who keep doing but very few who think, step back and see where the world is going. The most influential people in the world were the ones who observed it and didn't really do anything particular. So don't underestimate thinking.

No one suggested that you shouldn't thing, obviously actions should be informed.
But with all the information & speculation you have, what are you [b] accomplishing[/b], there are plenty of people who have ideas, far less who know how to implement them, and even less who are willing to do what it takes to actually accomplish them.
No one here is advocating for stupidity & mindless decision-making, but decision-making.

@Winterwanderer You are missing the point. What you are essentially suggesting is that thinking is a precursor to doing which is true but there is another truth which has nothing to do with doing. All ideas that you are referring to are ideas to accomplish something. Those ideas definitely need to be worked upon. But doing is not everything. Sometimes you need people who can just reflect and tell you why you are doing what you are doing. And no, there are almost nobody who know the answer to the questions such as where is humanity going and why so, how to make life truly meaningful. The world had such people in the past who knew the value of non-doing but at present non-doing only means postponing action which is not actually non-doing in the Zen-essence.
