I've thought about it, but today's world of keeping records of everything makes that kinda hard. Even if I could escape and start new, all it would take is someone looking up info in a database and find out where I came from, and where I went. And good luck starting a new identity without a million forms of ID and court papers, or living off the grid entirely.

@Notanymore Heck no...not financially anyway. That's why just retiring early and not having to work anymore will never happen. At the way things are these days I may not be able to retire when I reach that age (my "retirement" will be when they carry my corpse out of the workplace😏).

@Notanymore I love my country. I’m strongly wanting to buy land for a homestead, and want an orchid, but that would require establishing trees. If I bought land in outside the US I’d need to be able to get there often in order to establish the orchid. I likely won’t be able to do that as a truck driver.
