You have no idea how out of place you feel until you go to a party

Parties are drinking too much alcohol, and feeling like you should be enjoying yourself when you’re really not.
Better to meet up with a couple of decent friends in a restaurant, have some nice food and a glass of wine, be relaxed and mellow out. In my opinion anyway.

Plus you always end up in the kitchen at parties for some reason.
