Forget the bed.
Lots if pillows - sleep on the couch half sitting up.
Laying down just makes all your congestion worse.
Also - menthol or eucalyptus... put on tissues and put one in each pillow.... Helps keep sinuses clear while sleeping.
Goodluck - it sucks not being able to get the rest your body needs.

Try raising the head of your bed - that should keep your airway clear and allow you to sleep...
