Yes I do. If I have a big lunch by the time dinner rolls around I'm not feeling it. I usually go light later on instead. On a good note it saves calories!

@BlueMetalChick When I was younger than you I could eat like a pig and never gained weight. I had the metabolism of a jet engine and I was skinny/bony lol. Then I had my son and then I stopped taking care of myself and screwed that up. I eat less now than when I was skinny :)

yes i am shape shifting. i hit the gym 4 times per week.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
Well I'm only 24 so I can't really say I've been alive long enough but my metabolism has, thankfully, slowed a little bit since I was a kid. Although I've intentionally tried to make that happen. And "slowed" doesn't mean much since my metabolic rate is still unnaturally high.

Funny you should ask. I’ve got a meatloaf in the oven right now and will be working on the mashed potatoes. I’m also making Brussel sprouts. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow morning.

Metabolism slows down with age...got to jump start it!
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SW-User Not necessarily. When my dad was young, he was always too skinny despite eating lots of food. Everyone told him "wait till you get older." Now he's 60, and not a thing has changed. He's 5'11" and weighs maybe 130 pounds on a good day, and dude eats as much food as two grown men.
When he went to his high school reunion, his friends were marveling at the fact that he actually lost weight after high school because he stopped drinking alcohol.
