As the time difference was massive and in the middle of the night in Australia, I thought it was a remake of The War of the Worlds, a tragic day for USA and the world

I still clearly remember the day, despite being a kid. I remember knowing something was wrong based on how all the adults seemed to react.

I still recall my son calling me to come and see the news on television. My son, my daughter and both just sat and watched, gasping as it unfolded. Even at their tender ages, they understood the severity of it.

There probably still is a curtain in the office where I use to work for 12 years. It depicts the Chicago skyline with the world trade center in the center of it.

On one of the towers someone drew a plane crashing into one of the towers directly on the curtain. I knew who drew it.

Twelve years I looked at that plane. Twelve years I had a constant reminder. Never once in those twelve years did I think getting rid of that curtain.

I remodeled that office twice.

@indyjoe no you couldn’t be more wrong! Remember my uncle for saving 100s before he passed in the collapse. Remember what they did to us, and avenge them!
