Do you make sure your kids get at least some wilderness survival training?

All 4 of my kids have survival training on some level. My 11yo, advanced training. But all could fend for them selves if they had to. How about your kids, or your self?

As I´m well trained for, I teached it also to may three daughters and sons in law.

I didn't make them, but they did get that training on their own.

Very good idea. It seems kids these days think that camping involves an RV and sleeping under the stars is opening a sun roof.

Would if I had any. My dad plenty of times took me out on all day mountain hikes. Idylwild to Palm Springs, Saddleback mountains and such.
