Accidental reply to spam

Anyone know how to block gmail emails? I know it's a super noob question but I accidentally responded to an email on gmail in my spam box no text or links in the email that was sent just text saying "R uok" on the subject line 🤷‍♀️ . Gotta love voice command stuff 😂

Your problem is that's all they want. Your email address is now known to be attached to a person who responded. You'll get more spam from all different addresses. Little you can do but ignore them.

@SW-User yeah it's annoying I thought I closed the app. But my phones been a bit strange in opening up apps or closing them randomly 🤷‍♀️ . I'm getting it checked tomorrow :)

There is a block sender. Open the message then from the drop down menu in the message you can block the sender. But I suspect you'll never get another from that one.

@SW-User same here I just thought the email was so peculiar. Its like why send a random person "r u ok" in short hand anyway 🤔 I have filters that tell you if it's one of those scam emails, ransomware emails etc so least I know it was just regular spam
