Do you think USA is a fearsome country ?

As long as USA is there, not one country is brave enough to start a war. They know if they do, they will be in deep shit when americans will comes to their country 😆

America is starting to learn that many of their allies actually aren’t . Germany for example . The only one we can trust in my opinion is Israel .

@TexChik No.America imports more oil than it exports. We already have pipelines from Russia,Anything from the US will have to arrive by tanker. Its much cheaper to buy from Russia. We have our own oil fields too,we are more likely to sell oil to the US than to buy from the US.
TexChik · F
@tallpowerhouseblonde nope , we are energy independent and are exporting
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
@TexChik America imports oil from Canada,Latin America,Africa and the middle east.In 2017 19% of US oil use came from imported oil.America exports oil but imports more. There are different types of crude oil.

There have been plenty to of wars
And the US suffered a defeat in one of them, Vietnam

Even the greatest power on earth cannot defeat a determined enemy on their home soil
TexChik · F
@Rickg politics drove that . Had the us wanted to win , 24/7 B52 bombing runs would have solved the problem .
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
@TexChik north Vietnam shot down B52s.The US dropped more bombs in Vietnam than in WW2 and still lost. That is what happens when a corrupt South Vietnam government is so unpopular that South Vietnamese wanted the North to win.Supplying the US troops with the at that time not properly tested and a severe jamming problem M16 did not help.

The US is rapidly becoming irrelevant. The might of the US air force and army vs the Taliban and you couldn't even win that one. Fewer people are impressed than you think.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
Vietnam will not agree with you.Japan niether.Russia annexed Crimea and the USA did diddlysquat.Pretty useless in Syria and Libya too.China kept one of the USAF elint planes,Iran gives the finger to the US regularly as does North Korea with its missile tests.
The US is number one for military strength but there are limits, and most its planes are worn out needing replacement.

Our military is bigger than the next 10 militaries combines, and our tech is better in most areas than even our closest allies. Yes, we have the might, but the interest in the fight is reserved for countries of strategic importance to us.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
@UckfayOuyayOotay Not quite right. The Russian T14 tank is better than the Abrams M1,the F22 program got cut short because of cost, the F15s are all knackered, the new carrier is full of problems and way over budget.Don't get me wrong I like America, but we have to keep it real.

Looks like Syrians have been at it for quiet a while

Same for Yemen, saudi and the rest of the Gulf
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@Miram Spot on, Miram. India and Pakistan have had a few wars as well, and China occupied Tibet, while the UK had its war with Argentina; France is engaged in West Africa, Morocco is still fighting in the western Sahara, Sudan and South Sudan are busy at the slughtering, Sri Lanka had their civil war, Burma is still fighting the Karens, Chechnya was nasty too. . . nothing but wars and rumours of wars.
Fearsome sure, we are a warrior nation.

@WonderingWhileWandering A warrior nation? Have you been to a Walmart lately? 😅
@chrisCA I've never been in a Walmart. What's the point you are trying to make?
chrisCA · M
@WonderingWhileWandering How do you define a "warrior nation"?
