I remember in that film 'Mad Max' when the small boy throws his boomerang and one of the baddies tries to catch it and loses his fingers!

Had one and never got it to come back. I never got the hang of throwing it right. It wasn’t an authentic one though, a plastic one.

I threw a boomerang once, and it didn't come back.
Then I found out, it was just a stick.
