Why are some people obsessed with their race?

Probably for the same reason some people are obsessed with their sexual preference. They have to scream it at everyone in case someone missed it.

The liberals find it important and assume by focusing on it that it gets them elected.

Part of their identity. You have to actually have some sort of cultural tie to your ethnicity or race. If you're some white American dude, you probably won't care because you don't have any specific cultural ties.

The brown one who ate are so because the rest of the world treats them differently because of it .

The white who are do so because they are racist . Or what to geeel special
