How would you react if your mom and psychiatrist oblige you to take medication without your consent ?

I have to wonder if you are mentally capable of making medical decisions for yourself? Because of your age that is listed and the fact that your mom is working with your psychiatrist, it sounds as though she has medical power of attorney.

To be honest, I am feeling like there is a completely other side of this story you are intentionally leaving out, so we can all agree with you and you can feel your side is validated. Because of this, I will side with your mother and psychiatrist.

If you are not a danger to yourself or others AND if you can be self-sufficient and have your own place where you can act as you wish without getting arrested, then at your age you have the right to make your own choices, even if they are bad ones.

Depends whether or not I was self-sufficient. If I had an illness that made me dependent upon my parents and the medication was part of my treatment I guess I’d have to tolerate it, although I’d ask about alternatives.

To say I'd be pissed doesn't begin to explain it.

if you are getting mental health shots then you have a serious problem. please take your meds, dont see it as forcing you see it as you are doing it for you! i believe on you!!
