Hollywood films shove progressive messages down our throats in the most self-righteous manner possible? Read below

So, I love the USA, but I always hated those bullshit ass patriotic guilt trips that call me to prove my loyalty to this nation at every football game and what not; I find it to be insulting, honestly. I basically feel like the left shoving random images of minorities breaking sterotypes in my face is the left's answer to patriotic virtue signalling. Just like "hey, we need to show more women of color as scientists cause there aren't enough". Now, my favourite Disney movie was Mulan, i'm obviously not against breaking tradition in movies, like, not at all! But back in the day, movies that stood for something didn't feel forced, and actually conveyed their ethic in a deeper, more fleshed out way. A lot of the Disney classics for instance were about a character being stuck under a system that prevented them from following their heart, Like Mulan, or Ariel, Or princess Jasmine, or pocahontas. But now? Movies are basically just flexing on how diverse they are to win social browny points; it is self-righteous, annoying, insulting, and lame. Seriously, like directors just want pats on the back these days, and doing good deeds so that you will be seen by men is prideful intent, and is no good at all.

[c=#7700B2]Hollywood is just a giant crap show atm that seems to only focus on force feeding these progressive views in films and tv instead of focus of new original well written shows.. Disney is one of the biggest offenders of this.. Hopefully it doesn't go on for much longer considering how much money they all seem to be losing while just to force identity politics onto people[/c]

I like some Hollywood films but not many, I'm more into cult films that have small followings. With that said, I doubt the directors of the Hollywood films you're thinking of sat down and was literally like "we need to shove minorities breaking stereotypes down people's throats."

It's like if I see a movie with a female action hero doing impossible stunts I don't think "oh those stupid leftists, biology duh, manly men are more strong and that would never happen with a woman. But men can def. do matrix style stunts because we're better, stupid PC leftists!"

*Precedes to do every logical fallacy known to mankind*

Men were the hunters tho
Nature tho
Evolution tho
Biology tho

Lmao.

I think more like "guys wouldn't be able to do that either and maybe I should just enjoy the actual plot of the movie."

I'm sure there are directors that are inspired by social issues but I don't see why that would be a problem. When I think of strong females in roles, all I can think of is "good for us!"

When I see Muslim female superheros I think about all the times Muslim politicians degraded females and dragged them through the mud. Good for them, I hope there's more Muslim superheros.

Etc and so on.
