Do you ever hear sirens going down one part of a highway and get afraid it's someone you know that lives down there?

I saw ambulance going down this country Highway I live off of. My old coworker friend lives about 10 miles down there. He's been in probably 5 wrecks in the 13 year period I've known him. He's an alcoholic, he has seizures, and he's a loose cannon. It's about the time of night he would be getting home from work too, which is a 45-minute drive. Plus it's weird I had just been thinking about him before that. And I'm worried because I texted him and he has not answered
